The West Florida Baptist Institute is a Bible and Church Training institution established in 1983 under the ownership and direction of First Missionary Baptist Church of Pensacola, Florida. The purpose is not to make preachers, but to train people as ministers, missionaries, and Christian workers. It is not the purpose of the West Florida Bible
Institute to teach secular courses. Those courses taught that are not Bible-related are all of a practical nature and are offered to assist the Christian worker in his or her field of labor.
WFBI survived Hurricane Sally. The school building and property received no damage. The power was out for three days and was restored on Friday 9/18.
Fall Semster 2020.
We are aware of the concerns that may remain within
the hearts and minds of each of us, and the necessity to protect our families from the uncertainties of this time. To that end, WFBI will be offering three options for study:
1. On-Campus classes as normal
2. Take-home assignments, for students who cannot remain On-Campus.
3. Some On-Line classes, which are in development. This is not an option for all classes.
Remember that WFBI is not a giant school with hundreds of people coming and going, but we desire our students and thier families some peace of mind while on Campus. We will be observing the CDC guidelines that apply while in attendance at WFBI. Masks (extra on hand if someone forgets theirs), social distancing, hand washing, daily cleanings, hand wipes, etc.
Please feel free to contact the school with any questions or concerns. Phone (850)455-4417 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
